Newquay's Jonathan Fox has qualified for the S7 400m freestyle and the 100m backstroke at the 2012 Paralympics.
The 20-year-old won both events at the British trials in London and is the world record holder for the two events.
Fox, who won silver at the Beijing Paralympics, also just missed out on qualifying for the 50m freestyle after finishing third.
"They were wonderful performances in his two main events," his father Eric told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"He's got the world records in the 400 and 100 backstroke and those are the two gold medals he will go for in the Paralympcis in London hopefully."
Fox has moved from Cornwall to Manchester to train with other Paralympic hopefuls and his father says the move has helped his swimming improve.
"His training's going really well, he's got all the facitlties he needs up there for gym work and nutitorinists and the like," Fox's father added.
"Everything's in place for him to do well in London 2012."
