Colbourne hopes for Beijing repeat
- From the section Disability Sport
Cyclist Mark Colbourne, who has been selected to be part of the British team at the London Paralympics, hopes Great Britain can emulate their success at the 2008 Beijing Games where they won 20 medals, but admits expectation levels are high.
Colbourne, who represented his country at volleyball before breaking his back in a paragliding accident in 2009, won gold at the Para-Cycling Track World Championships earlier this year.
The 42-year-old Welshman is hoping to compete both on the road and the track for Great Britain at the Games.
