Poor fisherman races world's best
- From the section Disability Sport
Disabled Kenyan fisherman William Araka has had polio since he was five and must rely on the help of friends to feed his wife and four children at home.
But his life in fishing has taught him to paddle and he did enough to qualify for the Paracanoe World Championships in Duisburg, Germany.
Araka and his physio and mentor, Margaret Mukami, allowed BBC Sport to follow the progress of Kenya's lone world-class paracanoeist as he prepared to race.
