Paralympic stars inspiring children to take up sport

Local Paralympic stars meet disabled children at an event aimed at encouraging participation in sport.
Multi gold medal-winning swimmer Bethany Firth said she was honoured to be a role model to the youngsters, while 1500m champion runner Michael McKillop highlighted the need to motivate parents to encourage children to participate in disability sports.
Paralympic boccia player Claire Taggart said the event provided a chance for children to try out disability sports.
