Izzy Taylor missed out on an individual medal but Great Britain won team silver in the European Eventing Championships at Blair Castle in Perthshire.
Taylor was third going into the final show jumping phase, which was watched from the stands by the Queen.
On KBIS Briarlands Matilda, Taylor had one fence down, sending her down to sixth and leaving fourth-placed Kitty King as the highest-placed home rider.
Michael Jung won the individual title and team gold with Germany.
The overall total of 122.70 took the Germans well clear of the British quartet that also included Pippa Funnell, Nicola Wilson and William Fox-Pitt - who had to retire his mount Bay My Hero - and finished on 173.30. France were third on 183.70.
