Wycombe boosted their automatic promotion bid with a comfortable win over bottom-of-the-table Stockport.
Lewis Montrose gave the second-placed Chairboys an early lead with a fierce half-volley from 12 yards.
The home team went 2-0 up before half-time when Adam Griffin handled and Scott Rendell slotted home the penalty.
Jordan Rose's late header was County's best chance as they fell to a ninth successive away defeat, which leaves them five points from safety.
POST-MATCH REACTION
Wycombe manager Gary Waddock told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"It was important to get the three points. I set the challenge of backing up what we did at Shrewsbury and Morecambe and the have done that today.
"We are pleased with the clean sheet as well. If gives you a chance in games if you can do that.
"There was a lovely atmosphere today at the ground and we were pleased to get the result for them as well."
Stockport County manager Ray Mathias told BBC Radio Manchester:
"They had the majority of the game but overall the chances that they had and that we had were equal.
"I'm not making it an excuse for our defeat today but we never got the decisions that we deserved really.
"I've just had a go at the players as one or two of them dropped their heads; if we could have got a goal who knows what could have happened."
