Glenavon have moved to ease their goalkeeping crisis by signing Patrick Jennings on a short-term contract until the end of the season.
The experienced League of Ireland keeper will make his debut in Thursday night's Premiership game against Dungannon Swifts at Mourneview Park.
Andrew Plummer's sending-off against Dungannon on Saturday had left the club without a senior goalkeeper.
Patrick is the son of former Northern Ireland goalkeeping legend Pat.
Jennings began his career with Tottenham and went on to play for UCD in the League of Ireland for three seasons.
He then spent the next four seasons at Derry City, prior to moving to Sligo Rovers and most recently Shamrock Rovers.
His most memorable game with Derry was the 2006 Eircom League Cup final when he saved three penalties in the penalty shoot-out to help the club to a memorable victory over Shelbourne.
