Alfreton Town boss Nicky Law has hailed his side's staying power after seeing them hammer Guiseley 6-0 to keep their five-point Blue Square Bet North lead.
The Reds had Anthony Howell sent off after nine minutes for a two-footed tackle but turned on the style to romp to victory.
Law said: "That display is up there with the very best of them.
"That was our sixth game in 14 days. The same lads go out again and they just keep going and going and going."
Liam Hearn scored a hat-trick with three goals in three minutes either side of the break and Nathan Arnold, Josh Law and substitute Nathan Jarman completed the scoring.
Law added: "To go down to 10 men after nine minutes, you are thinking what now? But to score six was just a fantastic performance from every single one of them with some fantastic finishing."
The Reds have won five of their six games in a two-week spell, conceding just one goal [in the 2-1 win at Guiseley].
That run has seen Alfreton climb to the top of the table and go five points clear of AFC Telford and they still have two games in hand on the Bucks.
The Reds now play four successive away games, starting with fifth-placed Solihull Moors on Saturday and against local rivals Eastwood Town next Tuesday.
