Ipswich Town midfielder Billy Clark has used social networking site Twitter to announce he will not be offered a new contract at the club.
The 19-year-old academy product has made three substitute appearances for the first team.
"Being told your [sic] not getting offered a new contract is not fun," he said on his Twitter account.
In response to a question from a follower he added: "Glad to be out of there to be honest though."
The news comes after Ipswich released young goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin and second year scholars Rory McKeown and Josh Meekings.
Clark made his Town debut as an 89th minute substitute in a 1-1 draw with Doncaster in April 2010.
He made two more substitute appearances that season but has failed to feature at all this term and will be a free agent in the summer.
