Oxford United captain James Constable insists that they can still reach the play-offs.
The U's, who host second-placed Wycombe on Saturday, sit six points behind the top seven following Saturday's 3-0 defeat by Bury.
"We still have belief we can get in the play-offs. There are six games left and we believe we can win them all," striker Constable told BBC Oxford.
"None of us have given up hope, it's up to us to put in those performances."
Constable says his side are capable of beating the in-form side.
"We seem to have great games in the big matches," he said.
"I don't think much needs to be said to us about Saturday, we know we let ourselves down and the fans down at Bury and we know what we got to do.
"So it will be a massive game on Saturday and after last weekend's performance it makes it even more important we get something from the game."
