Chesterfield moved to within a point of promotion to League One by coming from behind to beat Macclesfield.
Lewis Chalmers gave the Silkmen the lead from the penalty spot after Dean Holden brought down Emile Sinclair.
Craig Davies levelled for the hosts with a superb strike after he cut in from the left-hand side.
Having previously hit the crossbar, Danny Whitaker grabbed the winner when his shot went in off Tony Diagne before Diagne hit the post.
The result means Chesterfield now require only one point from their last four games to seal automatic promotion.
Macclesfield drop one spot to 18th and remain six points off the relegation places.
Chesterfield manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I knew it would be a hard game, they're an awkward side, they're good at what they do and they're a threat.
"I thought we started the game slow and I didn't think that we really got going and obviously it was disappointing to go in 1-0 down at half time after a sloppy penalty.
"I just wanted to get them going, I tried to get one or two going and luckily I got a reaction from them."
