Hearts still on course for third, says boss Jefferies

Hearts manager Jim Jefferies is confident of avoiding a late season collapse after Dundee United moved closer to his side in the table.
Third-placed Hearts drew 0-0 with Motherwell while United beat St Johnstone to move to within eight points of Jefferies' men.
"It's well in Hearts' hands," Jefferies told BBC Scotland. "Eight points is a big gap.
"If we win next week and they lose then everybody will be saying it's over."
United and Hearts each have one more match to play before the Scottish Premier League splits into two sections and they will meet one more time before the end of the season.
"It's never over until it's impossible," said Jefferies. "They always say getting over the line's the hardest thing to do.
"I'm sure that everybody would prefer to be in our position than Dundee United's."
Of the draw with 'Well, Jefferies felt the result reflected the peformance.
"There was plenty of effort from the players but we just lacked in that final third either a break or that little bit of quality that would've created more chances," added the Tynecastle boss.
"I think at the end of the day, it was a fair result."
