Watford give Piero Mingoia a new two-year contract

Both of Mingoia's Watford starts have come in the FA Cup

Watford have handed a new two-year deal to academy product Piero Mingoia.

The 19-year-old midfielder has played four times this season, scoring on his debut in a 4-1 win against Hartlepool in the FA Cup in January.

"I really am delighted with this, it shows the club have a lot of belief in me," he told the club website.

"I've been around the squad a lot this season without playing too often, but where I feel I've really come on is training with the professionals."
