A late header from Clayton Donaldson saw Crewe come from a goal behind to beat Morecambe.
Phil Jevons crossed for Garry Hunter who fired in from inside the area to put the visitors ahead.
Donaldson saw an effort well saved by Shrimps goalkeeper Barry Roche, before he fired in from close range to equalise for the Alex.
He then went on to score the winner, nodding in a Lee Bell cross in injury time to snatch a victory for Crewe.
POST-MATCH REACTION
Crewe manager Dario Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke:
"It's the first time that we've won this season when we've been behind.
"You're not going to go through a season without doing that, so it was a good day to do it.
"I thought we were good, I was pleased with them because they were trying to do what I asked them to do."
