League One champions Brighton came from behind to earn a point at Colchester.
Ian Henderson fired the hosts in front from close in after comical defending from Brighton ended in Inigo Calderon presenting him with an empty net.
The visitors levelled through Ashley Barnes' neat volley at the near post from Elliott Bennett's cross after concerted pressure.
Tommy Elphick forced a great reaction save from home keeper Ben Williams as the Seagulls looked for a winner.
Barnes' leveller means Brighton can finish with 100 points if they win their final two games, while Colchester can no longer reach the play-off places.
Colchester United manager John Ward told BBC Essex:
"We've provided a lot of good entertainment at home this year and that was another one.
"Against the champions, the best team in the division and with some very good players, we've tried to give them a good game.
"We've probably both got claims to have had opportunities to win it, but all in all I'm really pleased with the way my team's performed and gone out there and given a good account of themselves."
