Lawro's predictions

BBC Sport expert Mark Lawrenson

This season, BBC Sport football expert Mark Lawrenson will pit his wits against a new guest each week.

It is the turn of former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, currently touring with his new band Beady Eye, to predict the results for the latest round of Premier League matches.

Liam is a lifelong Manchester City fan, and he backs his side to boost their push for a top-four place with a win at Blackburn on Monday.

A correct result is worth ONE point, a correct score earns THREE points.

For the Premier Leagues games on 16 and 17 April, Lawro got one result correct, and no perfect scores, and his one point was beaten (but only just) by Stoke defender Danny Higginbotham [2].
