Inverness manager Terry Butcher will set about reshaping his squad in the coming weeks following budget talks with chairman George Fraser.
Butcher's budget will be unchanged from this season, but some players will leave this summer as he looks to bring new signings in.
Adam Rooney, Chris Hogg and Stuart Duff are among 15 players out of contract at the end of the season.
"We had a good chat. We know what we want to do," said Butcher.
"The chairman has been on record saying that the budget has been frozen as the same, which we knew about.
"It's now a case over the next few days of telling players what we want to do and what their futures are.
"We are trying to narrow down who we want to keep on because 15 players are out of contract."
Inverness take on St Johnstone in the Scottish Premier League at McDiarmid Park on Monday night and must do so without winger Jonny Hayes is out for the season after undergoing ankle surgery.
And Butcher has challenged his players to retain seventh spot in the Scottish Premier League to give them a boost for next season, which begins on 23 July.
"The boys will be eager to get back into it because we will have one or two signings we would like to get in," he said.
"But the boys have been great all season.
"We want to finish the season on a high. Players are playing for bonuses and pride."
