Albion Rovers 1-0 Stranraer

Scottish Football League

Stranraer's hopes of claiming the final play-off place in Division Three suffered a serious blow after they lost at second-placed Albion Rovers.

The hosts' Michael Moore threatened twice with close-range headers then team-mate Daniel Mitchell fired over from inside the box.

Albion broke the deadlock after 58 minutes, striker Scott Chaplain firing home from inside the box.

The visitors tried to rally but failed to create many clear-cut chances.
