Last striker Ryan Noble doubt for Sunderland

Sunderland are likely to go into Saturday's game with Fulham without a recognised striker following an injury to Ryan Noble.

Fraizer Campbell, Asamoah Gyan and Danny Welbeck are unavailable and Noble is a doubt for the Premier League game.

"It's a shame Ryan got injured playing for the youth team, as he was an option at one stage," Black Cats manager Steve Bruce said.

"It doesn't look as if he's going to make it either."

The Wearsiders' youth side were 2-1 winners against Derby County, with Noble withdrawn after 15 minutes with a reported knee problem.

Noble has made two substitute appearances for the Black Cats first team this season, the last of which came in this month's 2-0 defeat by Birmingham at St Andrew's.
