Leicester City's Portuguese keeper Ricardo is expected to miss the Foxes' last two games of the season with a shoulder injury sustained in training.
The 35-year-old missed Monday's win over Watford, before having a scan.
"The medics think the season is over for him, unfortunately," said boss Sven-Goran Eriksson. "We have to wait and see the results of the scan."
The formal Portugal international signed for the Foxes in January until the end of the season.
Leicester are six points behind the play-off places with an inferior goal difference.
