Gateshead goalkeeper Tim Deasy has signed a new one-year deal after a successful debut season on Tyneside.
The 25-year-old made 50 starts for the club, establishing himself as first-choice at the International Stadium.
He signed an initial three-month deal at the beginning of last season, and impressed enough to earn a season-long deal in October.
Deasy has also played for Macclesfield, Stockport and Barrow, helping the latter to the 2010 FA Trophy final.
Meanwhile boss Ian Bogie has released seven first-team players following the completion of the 2010-11 season.
Those to go are defenders Paul Heckingbottom and Carl Jones, midfielders Andy Ferrell, Craig Nelthorpe and Stephen Baptist, and strikers Jonny Allan and Richard Offiong.
