Exeter have confirmed that neither Ben Watson nor James Norwood will be given new deals at the end of the season.
Watson, 25, has only made five starts since joining the Grecians in 2008 from Grays Athletic, and has spent time on loan at Forest Green and Bath City.
Norwood has also struggled to make an impact on the first team, with only three appearances to his name.
The 20-year-old has been on loan with both Forest Green and Eastbourne Borough this season.
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale said: "I'm disappointed that Ben will be leaving us because because he's been such a big part of the club for the last three and a half years.
"I'm particularly disappointed for him because he's missed most of his chances through injury.
"James came in two years ago full of energy and exuberance. He was a player we wanted to take a chance on and it hasn't quite worked out for him."
