Burnley have been fined £5,000 by the Football Association after pleading guilty to improper conduct.

They admitted a charge of failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.

It related to an incident during their fiery 1-0 defeat by Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday, 30 April.

Leeds have admitted the same charge, relating to the same incident, but have requested a personal hearing.

Chris McCann's tackle on Max Gradel sparked a melee in the second half, earning the Clarets midfielder one of the eight bookings in the game.
