Win was one of the best, says St Johnstone boss McInnes

St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes reflected on one of the best performances of his tenure following the 2-0 win over Aberdeen.
"We've had a lot of big results and big moments in the last few seasons," McInnes told BBC Scotland.
"But performances like that and the application of that team is as pleasing as I've ever had.
"From first minute to last, I thought we were the better team. That was as comfortable as we've been."
An early own goal by Steven Smith set Saints on their way and Jamie Adams headed a second on the hour.
"He's a fully committed boy," said McInnes of Adams. "He was excellent.
"I thought we were better physically, I thought we had more energy and we carried a threat the whole game.
"It could've been a lot more, we missed a lot of good chances but at least we were there to create them and we never gave Aberdeen time to settle. We didn't let their better players play.
"We defended well, there was an organisation about us and an assurance about us. When you have the work-rate, the organisation and togetherness in front of that then it's a lot easier."
