Partridge, Ives and Coakley to leave Cambridge United
Cambridge United have confirmed David Partridge, Sam Ives and Darryl Coakley will all be released this summer.
Defender Partridge's deal expires in June and left-back Coakley has come to the end of his development contract.
The U's have chosen not to take the option of a further year on midfielder Ives' deal.
Right-back Kevin Roberts has been offered a new contract and midfielder Simon Russell is considering whether to activate a 12-month option on his deal.
The U's say 24-year-old Roberts is close to signing new terms while Russell, 26, held talks with boss Jez George on Friday but has yet to decide on his future.
Academy products Jack Eades and Blaine Hudson have had the second year of their development contracts activated, they join James Brighton, Luke Allen and Jonathan Thorpe on the scheme who have all agreed two-year deals.
The U's are currently undergoing a cost-cutting exercise and have brought in a wage cap policy, but all other first team players have deals beyond the summer.
