Wydad v Simba venue decided

The African Champions League trophy
Simba and Wydad are both still in the hunt for the Champions League

Tanzania's Simba and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco will face each other in Egypt for the right to go into Group B of the African Champions League.

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) say the game will be played on 28 May at the Petro Sport stadium in Cairo.

The TFF also said the game will go straight to penalties if the two sides are level after 90 minutes

The play-off will decide who replaces champions TP Mazembe of DR Congo who were disqualified from the tournament.

It is still unclear when and if the Confederation of African Football (Caf) will hear Mazembe's appeal over the punishment.

Mazembe were thrown out of the Champions League for fielding an ineligible player in their 6-3 aggregate win in the second round of the tournament.

Mazembe then went onto beat Wydad Casablanca 2-1 in the third round before their disqualification.

The winners of the play-off will join Egypt's Al Ahly, Tunisia's Espernace, Algerian side Mouloudia Alger in Group B of the event.
