Ipswich Town have handed a new one-year deal to midfielder Colin Healy.

The 31-year-old Republic of Ireland international, whose contract was set to expire this summer, arrived from Cork City two years ago.

Healy played 22 games this season, 13 of which came after the arrival of boss Paul Jewell in January.

Bought by previous manager Roy Keane, Healy featured just 12 times under his fellow Irishman, and was shipped out on loan to Falkirk in his first season.
