Midfielder Ben Pringle free to leave Derby County

Pringle has made seven starts and 16 substitute appearances for the Rams

Derby County midfielder Ben Pringle has been told he can leave the club this summer, reports BBC Radio Derby.

The 21-year-old still has a year left on his contract but has struggled to make the breakthrough at Pride Park.

Pringle joined Derby from non-league Ilkeston Town in July 2009 but has started just seven games.

He had a spell with League Two side Torquay United earlier this season but cut that short to fight for his place with the Rams.
