Reading have agreed to sign QPR midfielder Mikele Leigertwood on a three-year-deal.
Since moving to the Madjeski Leigertwood has made 28 appearances and only been on the losing side twice.
The Angtiua international said: "I'm delighted. I've been very happy since the first minute I got here."
The deal will go through on 1 June when the domestic transfer window opens.
Leigertwood added: "I've been made so welcome. It's such a good club and it's been a good season - now I'm hoping it can get even better."
He started his career at Wimbledon and went on to play for Leyton Orient, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.
He is likely to feature in Monday's Championship play-off final against Swansea at Wembley.
Boss Brian McDermott said: "I knew from the first day Mikele came here that he would be perfect for Reading and that has proved to be the case.
"I'm delighted he has joined us, not just because of his attributes as a player but also as a person.
"He has all the criteria that are good about professional footballers and all the criteria that are good about Reading Football Club.
"He is very popular amoung the group, and we're looking forward to the next three years."
