Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has quashed reports that Wigan have made an offer for in-demand striker Craig Mackail-Smith.
Posh have for their 35-goal top scorer, with the 27-year-old allowed to discuss personal terms.
But MacAnthony said the Latics have yet to table an offer.
"Keep hearing Wigan in for Craig but no bid as of yet. They better hurry up to be honest," he said on Twitter.
MacAnthony also revealed an Asian-owned Championship outfit have had a bid rejected for the former Dagenham man.
Mackail-Smith, who has netted 99 times since arriving from the Daggers in 2007, is set to leave London Road this summer after Posh relented to the forward's request to play at a higher level.
Posh rejected an approach from Norwich in January, but the Canaries are unlikely to renew their interest after signing James Vaughan and Steve Morison from Everton and Millwall respectively.
