The FAI have summoned Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick's Athletic officials to attend hearings into the alleged racist abuse of Derry City player Eamon Zayed.
The allegations relate to Premier Division matches played on 10 June and 13 June.
The clubs will be asked to answer questions regarding the conduct of some of their fans and a Shamrock Rovers player will also be investigated.
Officials representing Derry City will also be invited to attend the hearings.
Libyan international Zayed claimed he was the target of a racist comment during the away games at Inchicore and the Tallaght Stadium.
The Rovers player involved has denied making any racist remarks.
