Wrexham full-back Declan Walker has signed a new one-year deal with the Blue Square Bet Premier club.
The 19-year-old made five appearances in the first three weeks of last term, but did not play again until the final day of the regular season.
In May, Walker helped the Republic of Ireland qualify for the Uefa Under-19 Championship finals.
"I'm back in training at Colliers Park, joining up with a few of the other lads who have made an early start," he said.
"It's certainly going to help me get fitter and ready for when I go away with the Irish again, assuming I'm picked for the finals.
"We've got a hard group in the finals with Romania, Greece and the Czechs, but there aren't many standout countries left, maybe Spain, so we feel we have a good chance of even winning.
"This is the first time in nine years we've qualified for the finals, so that's good for us.
"It's a great experience for me and I hope I can use that with Wrexham, as I'd like to be more involved in the first team this season and help get us back into The Football League, where we belong."
