Andrew Little has become the second Northern Ireland international to sign a one-year contract with Rangers this week.
On Thursday striker David Healy put pen to paper for Ibrox boss Ally McCoist.
Versatile player Little, who has played at full-back and up front, had opened negotiations last season but was out of action from October with a hip injury.
The 22-year-old will miss the club's pre-season training camp in Germany but hopes to be back soon.
Rangers reported the deal after Little announced the signing on his Twitter account.
"Just to let you all know, I have eventually signed a new contract," he wrote.
"It all dragged on a bit but signed a one-year extension this afternoon.
"I am desperate to get playing again. Not going to Germany. Hopefully fully fit in two to three weeks. Being out so long makes me want it more."
