Congo Brazzaville goalkeeper Barel Mouko has signed a new three-year deal with French champions Lille.
"Lille can confirm that Congolese goalkeeper Mouko Barel has signed a three-year contract extension with the club," Lille said in a statement.
"The captain of the Red Devils of Congo will stay here until 2014."
Since joining the top-flight side from Gueugon in 2009, Mouko has been unable to command a regular place in the Lille side.
Despite the setback, the Congo captain will stay at the club until 2014.
Mouko will be the club's third choice goalkeeper after Nigerian Vincent Enyeama joined Lille on a free transfer last month.
Mickael Landreau is Lille's first choice goalkeeper as they prepare to play in the Champions League next season.
Mouko played for Dijon and Gueugon before moving to Lille.
