Bradford City have signed teenage Scottish midfielder Scott Brown on a two-year-deal, with the option of another two years.
The 16-year-old played for Clyde in the Scottish Third Division last season and has been training with the Bantams.
Bradford manager Peter Jackson told the club website: "We feel that we've got a real find on our hands here.
"He's right up there as one of the best 16 to 18-year-olds that I've seen available to us in recent months."
Jackson added: "For such a young kid to come down from Scotland to a big club like ours and train the way he has done is exceptional.
"He's going to go into the development squad to start with, but I do believe we could have a real success story on our hands here as he's one of the best 16-year-olds I've seen in a long time.
"I certainly won't be ruling him out of the first team picture altogether.
"My record shows that I am not scared of giving young players their debuts, and hopefully I'll be giving Scott his this season."
