Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor have signed Sunderland midfielder Cristian Riveros on a season-long loan deal.
The 28-year-old scored once in 14 appearances during his debut season on Wearside following a move from Mexican side Cruz Azul in May 2010.
"Cristian wants to play regular football and hopefully he will be able to do so in Turkey," Black Cats boss Steve Bruce said.
Riveros has been on duty with the Paraguay squad at the Copa America.
The Anatolyan Star, as Kayserispor are known, finished sixth in the league last season, and are managed by former Rangers and Ajax striker Shota Arveladze.
