Braintree Town midfielder Jai Reason has agreed a new one-year deal with the club, keeping him at Cressing Road until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old joined the Iron in September following his release from Crawley, and went on to help Braintree to the Blue Square Bet South title.
The former Ipswich academy player was reportedly attracting attention from other non-league sides this summer.
"I was flattered by the interest in me," he told the club website.
"But I've enjoyed my time at Braintree and am looking forward to next season.
"It's the first time in my career that I have been with a club for a second season."
