Reading winger Jobi McAnuff has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2014.
The 29-year-old joined the Royals from Watford in August 2009 and has so far made 89 starts for the club.
Boss Brian McDermott said: "We've got a unique situation at Reading. We've got players who want to play for us and our fans. I know that's how Jobi feels."
McAnuff added: "I'm delighted. Once I knew the club were keen there was no hassle in ironing out the details."
The Jamaica international has also had spells with Crystal Palace, Cardiff, West Ham and MK Dons.
