Rob Swaine agrees Chelmsford City contract

Swaine has featured for Essex sides Billericay, Thurrock and Romford

Chelmsford City have handed a new one-year deal to defender Rob Swaine.

The 22-year-old joined the Clarets from fellow Essex side Thurrock in March, but was not able to play until after 16 April because of a suspension.

Swaine spent almost four seasons at Thurrock, making more than 100 appearances while he was at Ship Lane.

The Billericay youth product joins Ben Nunn, Adam Tann and Mark Haines in agreeing terms for next season at Melbourne Park.
