Marc Richards and Phil Roe are likely to miss the rest of Port Vale's tour of North America because of injury.

Captain Richards hurt his ankle in the 3-1 friendly win over North Sound SeaWolves on Friday, while new signing Roe suffered a hamstring problem.

Manager Micky Adams has said it is unlikely that either player will be risked in any of Vale's three remaining fixtures on the tour.

Richards, Sean Rigg and Lewis Haldane all scored against the SeaWolves.

"We're really happy with the workout," Adams told the club website. "I think the boys worked extremely hard.

"We played against a young, vibrant side who gave us a severe test. All in all, it's been worthwhile."

Vale face Tacoma Tide on Sunday evening and will also play matches against Kitsap Pumas and Canadian side Victoria Highlanders before they return to England.
