Darlington squad capable of promotion - Graham Fordy

Darlington managing director Graham Fordy has said that he expects the club to challenge for promotion this season.
So far this summer the Quakers have signed winger Adam Rundle, defender Graeme Lee, utility player Kris Taylor and striker James Walshaw.
But Fordy has hinted there will be more signings before the new season begins.
He told BBC Tees: "We'll continue until 13 August to make sure we've got a squad capable of challenging for automatic promotion."
Fordy added that he does not underestimate the challenge ahead: "The Conference is a competitive league.
"I think more than half the league is made up of ex-Football League teams, so it's not an easy league to get out of."
Darlington begin their campaign at home to Braintree Town before an away trip to Fleetwood Town - one of the favourites for promotion.
Fordy said that he is not worried by the prospect of facing a top side so soon into the campaign.
"Sometimes that's the best way to start the season," he added. "[Promotion] is vastly important. We're positive in our way going forward and (manager) Mark Cooper is happy with the progress we've made, he feels we're a stronger unit than last year.
"I'm more positive this season than the previous two. "
