Blackpool have signed defender Paul Bignot on a two-year deal from Newport County for an undisclosed fee.
Bignot, 25, told the club website: "People might say that Conference to Championship is a massive step up.
"But, if you look, there are players that have done it, so there's no reason to have any fear about anything."
Bignot had been on trial at the Seasiders for the past week, having been named County's player of the season last term.
He is the third player to arrive at Blackpool in the past 24 hours and is the brother of Marcus who played for Queens Park Rangers and Bristol Rovers.
