Two red cards for Stirling helped Airdrie to a comfortable win in the first round of the Scottish League Cup.

Sean Fagan was sent off after 30 minutes for impeding Rhys Devlin's route to goal with Graeme Owens scoring the resultant penalty.

Ryan Donnelly scored United's second shortly after and with Goalkeeper Sam Filler dismissed with 12 minutes to play, Owens scored his second penalty.

Donnelly completed his brace before Jamie Bain rounded off the victory.
