Guernsey win pre-season friendly with Bristol City XI

Guernsey FC beat a Bristol City Select XI 6-0 at Footes Lane in the second of their pre-season friendlies.

After losing 6-5 to AFC Wimbledon a week earlier, the Green Lions this time scored six themselves.

Ross Allen hit a hat-trick, while the other Guernsey goals came from Ryan Zico-Black, Dave Rihoy and a own goal from visiting keeper Matt Sandiford.

The second pre-season friendly for the new club attracted a 1072-strong crowd.

On Wednesday they travel to Horley Town FC for their final friendly before the new season begins on 6 August.
