Grimsby Town have signed Rochdale striker Anthony Elding for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old former Stevenage man has signed a one-year contract with the Blue Square Bet Premier side, with the option of a further year.
Elding had looked set to join Plymouth last week but turned down the move after "sleeping on matters".
He ended last season on loan at Stockport, scoring three goals in 21 games as they were relegated.
The Mariners had been looking for a new striker following Alan Connell's switch to League Two side Swindon Town.
BBC Radio Humberside's Town commentator John Tondeur said: "I don't think it's any surprise that he has finally signed.
"Grimsby did need another striker but I'm not sure that Elding should be considered as a direct replacement to Connell."
