Port Vale 'have time to impress' manager Micky Adams

Port Vale manager Micky Adams has told his players that there is still time for them to force their way into his team on the opening day of the season.
Adams begins his second spell in charge at Vale Park with a home game against promoted Crawley on 6 August.
"They will all have enough game time to impress me," Adams told BBC Radio Stoke after the 2-1 friendly win at Halifax.
"Hand on heart, I can honestly tell you this, I haven't got a clue what 11 I'm going to pick against Crawley."
Sean Rigg and Louis Dodds both scored with headers as Vale came from a goal down to win at the Shay on Tuesday.
"It was a competitive game, that's for sure," said Adams. "We've needed to raise our level of performance from our previous games.
"Halifax shocked us with an early goal. But, credit to my boys, we stuck at it, passed the ball well and scored two good goals."
Vale have won all seven of their pre-season matches so far this summer, including four on their tour of North America.
They have three more friendly games still to play, with captain Marc Richards expected to feature at Stone Dominoes on Wednesday after recovering from an ankle problem.
Vale then face Walsall on Saturday before rounding off their pre-season schedule at Biddulph on 2 August.
