Grimsby Town aim for one more signing

Joint-manager Rob Scott says Grimsby Town are aiming to bring in one more player before the new season starts.

The Mariners improved their attacking options by signing striker Anthony Elding from Rochdale on Monday.

But Scott told BBC Radio Humberside: "I think we need a little bit more pace in the team, and it will be an offensively [minded player].

"We're not going to jump straight in, our decision will be made in probably the next ten days."

He continued: "Darren Kempson's yet to come back in and see if he's 100%, so we need to gauge where we're at with the fit bodies that we've got. It might be that we need to fit somebody in somewhere else."
