Everton Ladies striker Natasha Dowie says the Blues will need to improve if they are to beat Arsenal on Sunday in the Women's Super League.
Dowie scored the winner in her side's 1-0 win over Liverpool on Wednesday.
She told BBC Radio Merseyside: "If we play like we did against Liverpool when we play Arsenal on Sunday, we won't come out with the three points.
"We like to play attractive football, there are flashes of it, but we need to do more against the bigger teams."
Dowie added: "We need to have a better performance on Sunday. We want to be winning games consistently against Arsenal, so hopefully this Sunday will be the start of that."
Liverpool are still looking for their maiden victory in the Women's Super League and are now four points adrift at the bottom of the table.
And Reds midfielder Katie Brusell hopes a revival can begin on Sunday, when her team host Bristol Academy in Skelmersdale.
"It just seems to be individual errors that are costing us," said Brusell.
"If we can cut those out, then we need a bit more going forward. We're organised at the back so we just need to kick on and push forward a bit more.
"With the games against the likes of Bristol and Doncaster next Wednesday, we're hoping to get nothing less than three points. Nothing less is acceptable."
