Left-back Danny Fitzsimons is back at Histon after agreeing to join David Livermore's side on a permanent deal after leaving Yeovil.
The 19-year-old spent time on loan with the Stutes last season and becomes their fifth summer signing.
Livermore told the club website: "Danny is exactly the type of young, hungry player I want here at the club.
"He has turned down the opportunity at Yeovil to join us in order to play regular first team football."
Fitzsimons made six appearances for Histon last season, but his loan spell was brought to an early end owing to injury.
He subsequently spent time playing in League One with Yeovil, but has opted to make the move to the Blue Square Bet North.
"He has had a good schooling with the likes of Millwall, QPR, Yeovil and the Irish Under-18 side and has the desire to get back into the League," Livermore said.
"I think it's a terrific deal for the club and for Danny and I look forward to seeing him in a Histon shirt again."
