Ross Crick hit four goals on his debut for St Ouen as they beat St Martin/SCF 9-1 in the preliminary round of Jersey's Charity Cup.

Fellow debutant Dave Le Roux, who moved from Trinity in the summer, hit a hat-trick while Joe Murphy scored two.

The trio of island strikers did the damage in the second half after the two sides were tied 1-1 at half time.

Crick, who has also played for First Tower United and Jersey Scottish, moved from St Paul's in the summer.

In the other preliminary round match Joe Burleigh and Callum Brennan got a goal each as Jersey Scottish beat Rozel Rovers 2-0.
